Dakh Daughters

The Dakh Daughters group, which currently consists of 7 talented girls, is constantly moving towards even greater popularity among its fans, as well as striving to win the hearts of other listeners.

This unusual project has something in common with a modern theatrical group called DakhaBrakha. Dakh Daughters members also perform at the Dakh Theater in Kiev. Vladislav Troitsky arranges all kinds of intriguing performances for the group.

Today the team is especially popular and in demand. A huge number of fans and fans of the group provided their video "Rozy / Donbass" on the YouTube channel. It is notable for the fact that it combines Ukrainian folk musical compositions and Shakespeare's thirty-fifth sonnet. Theatrical pathos can be seen with the naked eye, but this is the main feature of the participants.

Among other things, the musicians came to the conclusion that they would use at their concerts the texts of such famous legendary personalities as: Lesya Ukrainka, Taras Shevchenko, Joseph Brodsky, Charles Bukovsky, Mikhail Semenko, Yuri Andrukhovich, Alexander Vvedensky. Of course, it is understood that the texts will be pronounced in different foreign languages, as in the original (in total, French, English, German, Russian and Ukrainian).

The girls in the group provide rich musical accompaniment to the lyrics of their songs thanks to a variety of instruments.

The advantage is that none of the female participants is tied to a particular musical instrument, so the girls can change them as and when they want.

The performances of this women's group could be seen in Poland, France, in the regional centers of Ukraine. In 2013, the project gave a concert in the Russian Federation in the summer, when the White Nights festival was held there, in 2014 in mid-spring they performed at the Gogol-Center in Moscow, towards the end of the spring of the same year in St. Petersburg.

The autumn of 2016 was remembered by the group for the release of their first debut collection of musical compositions "If", recorded at a professional recording studio. The album included 9 singles. The collection got its name from the song of the same name to the poems of Rudyard Kipling.

In winter 2017, the team presented a video for the track "Lyudina", which was filmed in black and white.

The band does not stop developing musically, so it is quite possible that soon fans will be able to hear new tracks and alluring videos of Dakh Daughters.
